1. HOW WE THINK
We design for flexibility, and we pay attention to the details that make spaces last.
Our favorite places are enriched by layers of history and stories that resonate today, so we strive for our work to do the same. We know how important your project is and will ensure that it is built to withstand the wear and tear of life.

Our work centers the process and craft of construction.
We think all along the way about the way that materials will come together on site, and plan for the hard work that will come when construction begins. This process-first mindset helps us get ahead of problems before they arise.
We aspire to create places that enrich our communities and bring joy to the neighborhoods we love.
We are fueled by a passion for spaces that bring people together to share meals and conversation, at home and in the neighborhood.

We embrace the dynamism of the city while seeking balance and contrast in the vibrant landscapes of the Hudson Valley, Long Island Sound, and beyond. Our process draws on the creative tension between these worlds, finding ways for each to inform the other.
